Riot Games wanted to celebrate the 2024 Lunar New Year of the Dragon by releasing a cinematic. It introduced a new legendary skin for their hero, Prince Lee Sin. We were asked to create a 3D model concept of him to visualize how he could look in high-res cinematic quality. In addition, we designed the primary Seat of Heaven environment, various props including the porcelain fountain, which later got integrated right into the terrace waterfalls. Concepts were also done for the niches of Lee Sin’s dragon consorts: Diana, Ezreal, Kai'Sa, Janna, Master Yi, and Smolder, each work area containing items that pertain to their character. We then had our team create key visual art pieces to help guide the lighting, mood and color for the cinematic team.
